Welcome

Welcome to the Ravensworth Contractor Induction Microsite.

This microsite provides essential information for companies inducting employees to work at Ravensworth. It contains important guidance on the induction process, required site documentation, helpful resources, and key contact details.

Ravensworth Complex

The Ravensworth Complex consists of the Ravensworth Open Cut (ROC) and the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).

The complex is located in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, between Muswellbrook and Singleton.

Ravensworth Operations employs approximately 760 people across the site and produces around 8.3 million tonnes of saleable coal each year.

Ravensworth is an open-cut mining operation that utilises a large ultra-class fleet of hydraulic shovels, excavators, and rear dump trucks to produce both thermal and metallurgical coal for export. All extracted coal is processed through the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) before being exported via the Port of Newcastle.
