The State Government announced its intention to build the Women and Babies Hospital (WBH) on land within the Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) precinct along with expansion of obstetrics, gynaecology and neonatal services including birthing suites, a Family Birth Centre (FBC) and theatres at Osborne Park (OPH) and neonatal services expansion at Perth Children Hospital (PCH). This is collectively known as the New Women and Babies Hospital Project (NWBHP).
