The delivery of a new Clinical Services Building (Building CS01) and the refurbishment of areas of existing facilities. The CHR will provide infrastructure
required to adequately meet the anticipated growth in demand and enhance the integrated patient journey from acute, subacute and ambulatory care services to community based services in
partnership with other health providers.
The clinical expansion will see the hospital moving from approximately 460 beds currently to a physical capacity of approximately 760 beds at completion of the project, with some shell capacity
for future commissioning. The Works under the CHR Main Works Project includes some of the following services in the new Clinical Services Building:
