The Waikeria Prison Development design and construction works will deliver new high-security Prison facility with the capacity to accommodate 500 prisoners with an additional Mental Health Unit to be incorporated.

Asset Management and facilities maintenance services to support the delivery of Departments Operating Model. Delivery of Electronic Security System that supports the safe, secure and efficient operation of the facility.

The wider precinct will have associated infrastructure upgrades for the provision of services to operate the new facility which is scheduled to be completed by 2022.
