CPB Contractors has been awarded packages of the Robe Valley Sustaining Project (RVS) which includes new and upgraded infrastructure required for mining operations at the Mesa B, C and H deposits. The primary requirement of the Project is to sustain production at 35 Mtpa saleable ore product from the Robe Valley from 2020.
The Works include:
- Site establishment and demobilisation;
- Heritage fencing;
- Clearing, grubbing and topsoil activities;
- Earthworks including cut and fill, load, haul, place and compaction;
- Drainage works;
- Concrete arch tunnel construction;
- Road intersection upgrade;
- Mesa K earthworks (optional);
- In-pit screening plant and train load out water tank demolition works (optional); and
- All other works that are or may be required to be performed by the Contractor under and in accordance with the Contract or at the direction of the Engineer.
