CPB Contractors has been awarded packages of the Robe Valley Sustaining Project (RVS) which includes new and upgraded infrastructure required for mining operations at the Mesa B, C and H deposits. The primary requirement of the Project is to sustain production at 35 Mtpa saleable ore product from the Robe Valley from 2020.

The Works include:

  • Site establishment and demobilisation;
  • Heritage fencing;
  • Clearing, grubbing and topsoil activities;
  • Earthworks including cut and fill, load, haul, place and compaction;
  • Drainage works;
  • Concrete arch tunnel construction;
  • Road intersection upgrade;
  • Mesa K earthworks (optional);
  • In-pit screening plant and train load out water tank demolition works (optional); and
  • All other works that are or may be required to be performed by the Contractor under and in accordance with the Contract or at the direction of the Engineer.
