The Port Laboratory Replacement project has been awarded to CPB in partnership with Broad to replace the existing Assay Laboratory currently operating at Nelson Point with a new Laboratory Facility. This new facility will be located on Finucane Island adjacent to the existing Administration Buildings. The purpose of the laboratory replacement is to increase the throughput for future Port expansion.

The total Project scope includes the supply and installation of a new building of approximately 600m2 plus the ancillary areas, and associated services required for its operation.

Works Included as follows:

• Mobilisation, Demobilisation and Transportation of Equipment;
• Survey Services, Site Set Up, and Construction Traffic Management;
• Bulk and Detailed Earthworks including removal of existing Car Park;
• New Laboratory Building including services and equipment installation;
• Modification to existing hydraulic, electrical and communications services.
