CPB Contractors have been contracted by Auckland International Airport Limited to provide construction services. The project (Taxiway Mike Extension and Remote Stands Stage 2) is part of AIAL’s expansion plan till 2044 involving extension of existing Taxiway (800m long), Apron Tie-Ins, construction of six new Remote Stands for A380s and existing Pier B Tie-Ins. Archeologically momentous, this project is categorised into Two separable portions – Taxiway Mike and Remote Stands with a combined construction period of 28 Months.
