AGL Macquarie produces approximately 12% of the electricity needed by consumers in eastern Australia.

AGL Macquarie’s assets include the 2,640 MW Bayswater power station and the 2,000 MW Liddell power station in the Hunter Valley of NSW.

The Antiene Coal Unloader is AGL Macquarie’s primary fuel delivery facility for Bayswater and Liddell power stations.

The site was commissioned in 2007 and operates 7 days a week throughout the year. It consists of a rail loop, dumping station, provisioning shed, a series of conveyors and associated infrastructure. The Antiene Coal Unloader site is located on Hebden Road, 12kms south of Muswellbrook.

The Ravensworth Coal Unloader is a smaller facility located next to the New England Highway at Ravensworth, and is considered part of the Antiene Coal Unloader facility.
